Mount Bohemia Launches Its $99 Season Pass Sale

Written by

Every winter, Mount Bohemia delivers on its legend. The deep natural snow, steep terrain, and a fiercely loyal ski community waits all year for this moment. That moment is here. The resort’s annual $99 season pass sale opens today! This is the lowest price of the year for one of the most unique ski destinations in North America. Be quick though. It only runs through December 6.

The excitement this time around is even more charged. Mount Bohemia was just ranked Top 3 in USA Today’s Best Ski Resort in North America contest—its sixth year in a row landing in the top five. That’s a serious nod for a place tucked into the remote Keweenaw Peninsula, a region famous for lake-effect snow and a fiercely independent ski culture.

What the $99 Pass Includes

Bohemia keeps things simple: the season pass is the golden ticket.

It includes unlimited access to the Nordic Spa, where the routine is part ritual and part recovery—hot saunas, cold plunges, eucalyptus steam, floating pods, the new exfoliation room, and now a brand-new mineral pool that’s twice the size of the original hot tub. If the skiing doesn’t humble you, the cold plunge will.

Passholders also unlock 43 free ski days at 25+ partner resorts across the Upper Midwest and West Coast, a perk that quietly saves families hundreds of dollars every season.

New for 2025–26: Far East Terrain Opens

Bohemia’s terrain has always read like a fantasy map—Middle Earth, The Graveyard, Haunted Valley—so it feels fitting that the resort’s newest expansion is named Far East.

This new zone sits just beyond Middle Earth and features four long natural-glade runs through rocky gorges and quiet wooded valleys. These aren’t groomed boulevards; they’re raw, winding lines made for the experts who love Bohemia’s all-natural style.

Skiers exit onto the bottom access road, where Backcountry Buses loop every five minutes, returning riders to the front side. It keeps the flow smooth even on busy days.

Even More Spa + Après Upgrades

Bohemia’s Nordic Spa continues to grow because skiers need their legs for the next day. This year brings:

  • A new mineral pool, kept at a consistent therapeutic temperature
  • A new steam room
  • Expanded spa programming
  • And the return of the resort’s fast-growing Winter Solstice Pool Party, a December celebration that blends wellness and après-ski in a way only Bohemia could pull off

It’s wellness, but the rugged Keweenaw version of it.

Planning a Bohemia Getaway

Opening-day announcements, snowfall totals, and real-time conditions roll out on both Mount Bohemia and Visit Keweenaw social channels, so keeping tabs is easy.

Lodging around the Keweenaw ranges from simple lakeside cabins to boutique inns—ideal for ski groups, couples, or winter road-trippers looking for a warm place to defrost after a day in the trees. Visitors can browse options at visitkeweenaw.com/lodging.

For now, ski season is creeping closer, snow is already stacking up north, and the $99 pass window is officially open. If there’s a better early-season thrill in Michigan, it’s hard to find.
