Bridgefest (June 12–15)
Houghton and Hancock kick off summer with the 65th Annual Bridgefest, a celebration of the unique bond between the twin cities connected by one of the world’s largest double-decker lift bridges. Families can enjoy parades, live music, and local food, all while soaking in views of the Portage Canal. It’s an ideal kickoff to a Keweenaw vacation—and a great way to introduce kids to the region’s engineering marvels.

Juhannus Summer Solstice Celebration (June 20–22)
Celebrate Finnish culture and community during the Juhannus Festival in Hancock.
